The manufacturing process of terminal blocks

Terminal ring (also known as circular terminal or circular wiring sheet) is a type of metal terminal used to connect wires to devices or electrical connectors. It is usually made of metal, shaped like a ring, with a hole in the middle, and can be fixed to equipment or connectors through screws or other fixtures. Terminal blocks are widely used in automotive electronics, household appliances, industrial equipment and other fields to ensure the stability and reliability of circuits.
 Structural Composition 
1.  Circular ring  : The main part, usually a circular metal ring, is fixed at the end of the wire by welding or crimping.
2.  Wire slot  : An opening at one end, usually in a U shape, used for inserting wires to ensure good contact between the wires and the terminals.
3.  Fixing Hole  : A small hole at the other end, used to fix the terminal to the equipment through screws or other fixing devices.

1. Material Selection  :
Terminal blocks are usually made of metal materials with good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, such as copper alloys and copper-nickel alloys.
2. Processing and Manufacturing 
Processing and manufacturing is a key link in the production of terminal blocks. Common processing methods include:
-  Stamping forming  : Place the metal sheet on the press and use a die to press it into the shape of the terminal block.
3. Surface Treatment:
The surface treatment aims to improve the electrical conductivity, oxidation resistance and connectivity of the terminal ring with other devices. Common surface treatment methods include:
- Gold plating: Enhances electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
-  Silver plating  : Enhances electrical conductivity.
-  Tin plating  : Enhances antioxidant performance.

Packaging & Shipping

Packaging materials

Small metal stamping parts are commonly made of plastic bags, plastic boxes, etc.

Medium-sized stamping parts, paper boxes or cartons are commonly used, which can provide certain cushioning protection and are environmentally friendly.

Large or heavy stamping parts, pallet packaging can provide better support and protection, facilitating forklift handling.

In special circumstances, metal packaging is used, such as when higher protective strength is required or when moisture-proof and rust-proof requirements are needed.

 

Packaging technology

Bulk packaging: The stamped parts are directly placed into the packaging container, which is suitable for products with regular shapes and not easy to be damaged.

Pallet packaging: Place the stamped parts on pallets and then seal them with plastic film or cartons for easy stacking and transportation.

Tape and reel packaging: For some small stamping parts, such as electronic components, tape or reels are used for packaging to facilitate automated assembly.

Cushioning protection: Add cushioning materials such as foam and sponge inside the package to prevent the stamped parts from being damaged due to collision during transportation.

A: If you don't have any drawing,you can send us your sample, we will scan it and make 2D and 3D drawing first, then make sample for you.
