spring is a mechanical part that works by using elasticity. It is made of elastic material. When subjected to an external force, it will undergo elastic deformation. Once the external force is removed, the spring can return to its original shape.

Cold drawing: Mainly used for manufacturing small springs. The metal wire is cold-drawn through a die to reduce its diameter and enhance its strength at the same time. For instance, when manufacturing some small stretch springs, the cold-drawn metal wires can meet the required dimensions and strength requirements.

3.Cold working process
Cold winding: It is the process of winding metal wires or metal strips into a spring shape at room temperature. For small helical springs, the cold rolling process is usually adopted. During the cold winding process, it is necessary to control the tension and speed of the winding to ensure the dimensional accuracy and elastic performance of the spring. For instance, when manufacturing some small compression springs, the parameters such as the number of turns and pitch of the spring can be precisely controlled through the cold rolling process.

It bears axial tensile load. Its two ends usually have structures such as hooks or rings, which are convenient for connection with connecting parts. In addition to the door lock rebound device mentioned earlier, stretch springs on some fitness equipment are also common examples, such as resistance bands, which are used to exercise muscle strength through stretch springs.

Bears axial compression load. In addition to automotive suspension systems, compression springs are also widely used in various mechanical switches. For example, in some button-type electronic devices, the compression spring beneath the key can provide a rebound force after the key is pressed, enabling the key to return to its original position.

Bears torque load. In addition to the mainspring mechanism of mechanical watches, the lead ejector mechanism of some automatic pencils also uses torsion springs to achieve the automatic advancement of the lead core. When the button of the pencil is pressed, the energy stored in the torsion spring is released, pushing the lead core forward.

Medium-sized stamping parts, paper boxes or cartons are commonly used, which can provide certain cushioning protection and are environmentally friendly.

Large or heavy stamping parts, pallet packaging can provide better support and protection, facilitating forklift handling.

In special circumstances, metal packaging is used, such as when higher protective strength is required or when moisture-proof and rust-proof requirements are needed.

Bulk packaging: The stamped parts are directly placed into the packaging container, which is suitable for products with regular shapes and not easy to be damaged.

Pallet packaging: Place the stamped parts on pallets and then seal them with plastic film or cartons for easy stacking and transportation.

Tape and reel packaging: For some small stamping parts, such as electronic components, tape or reels are used for packaging to facilitate automated assembly.

Cushioning protection: Add cushioning materials such as foam and sponge inside the package to prevent the stamped parts from being damaged due to collision during transportation.
