Introduction to Composition Stator

- ** Stator core ** : The stator core is one of the main components of the stator, usually made by stacking silicon steel sheets. Silicon steel sheets are a special type of steel with excellent magnetic permeability. These silicon steel sheets are insulated from each other. The purpose of doing this is to reduce eddy current losses. Eddy current loss is the energy loss caused by the induction of eddy currents in the iron core by an alternating magnetic field.
- ** Stator winding ** : The stator winding is the key part of the motor that generates the magnetic field. It is a coil wound with insulated wires. In AC motors, the stator windings usually adopt three-phase windings. When three-phase alternating current is fed into the stator winding, a rotating magnetic field is generated.
3. Function
The main function of the stator is to generate a rotating magnetic field. In an electric motor, the rotating magnetic field generated when alternating current is passed through the stator winding interacts with the rotor, thereby driving the rotor to rotate. In a generator, the stator winding is used to induce electromotive force and convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.

1. Definition
The rotor is the rotating part in the motor. It, together with the stator, constitutes the core components of the motor. During the operation of a motor, the rotor rotates under the influence of the magnetic field generated by the stator, or in a generator, the rotation of the rotor generates a magnetic field.
2. Composition
- ** Rotor core ** : The rotor core is also composed of silicon steel sheets stacked together. Its structure is similar to that of the stator core, mainly to reduce eddy current losses. However, the shape and size of the rotor core will vary depending on the type and application of the motor.
- ** Rotor winding ** : The type of rotor winding varies depending on the type of motor. In squirrel-cage asynchronous motors, the rotor windings are composed of copper or aluminum bars embedded in the rotor slots. The two ends of these bars are short-circuited through end rings, forming a short-circuited cage structure. This structure is simple and sturdy and durable. In a wound-rotor asynchronous motor, the rotor winding is a three-phase winding and is connected to the external circuit through brushes and slip rings. This structure enables the rotor winding to be connected to external resistors, thereby adjusting the resistance of the rotor and altering the starting performance and speed regulation performance of the motor.
3. Function
In an electric motor, the main function of the rotor is to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. When the rotating magnetic field generated by the stator cuts through the rotor winding, an electromotive force and current are induced in the rotor winding, thereby generating an electromagnetic torque and causing the rotor to rotate. In a generator, the rotation of the rotor generates a magnetic field that interacts with the stator windings, inducing an electromotive force in the stator windings.

Packaging materials

Small metal stamping parts are commonly made of plastic bags, plastic boxes, etc.

Medium-sized stamping parts, paper boxes or cartons are commonly used, which can provide certain cushioning protection and are environmentally friendly.

Large or heavy stamping parts, pallet packaging can provide better support and protection, facilitating forklift handling.
